Terms of Service
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Please read these terms before using HoldingsNest (the “Service”). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
The Service lets you record and track assets, liabilities, investment holdings and net worth, and invite others to manage them with you. The Service is not a bank, broker or investment adviser. It does not hold your money or execute any transactions.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Keep your sign-in methods secure. Actions taken with your account are treated as taken by you.
- Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Workspaces and members
- The person who creates a workspace is its owner and can invite members and set permissions.
- When you invite someone, make sure you have the right to share that data with them.
- Removed members lose access to the workspace. We cannot recall data they viewed or exported before removal.
4. Your data
- The data you enter belongs to you. You grant us permission to store, process and display it in order to provide the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
5. Not financial advice
- Market prices and exchange rates come from third parties and may be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. Returns, net worth and amortization figures are for reference only.
- Nothing in the Service is investment, tax or legal advice. Rely on official statements from your financial institutions when making decisions, and consult a professional when needed.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Accessing other people’s accounts or data without authorization.
- Interfering with, attacking or overloading the Service, or bypassing its security or permission controls.
- Using the Service for anything illegal.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
7. Fees and plans
The Service offers a free plan and may offer paid plans. Plan features and prices are as published on our website.
- Plan changes: We reserve the right to change plan features, scope, prices, and promotions such as referrals, trials and early-bird offers. We will notify you in the Service or by email at least 30 days before a change.
- Paid periods are honored: Any period you have already paid for is provided under the plan as it was when you paid. Price or feature changes apply from your next billing period. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before the next period starts.
- Promotions and referrals: Each promotion has its own conditions, limits and deadlines, and we may change or end it early. Rewards already granted won’t be taken back, except those obtained improperly (for example, by creating many accounts).
- Expiry or cancellation: When a paid plan expires or is cancelled, your data is not deleted. Anything beyond the free plan becomes read-only and some features stop (for example, the contingency plan stops its timer and you can’t invite new members).
- Payment and reseller: Paid plans purchased on the web are sold through Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), our reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles payment, tax and receipts. Your card statement will show PADDLE.NET* HOLDINGSNEST. Payments are also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Purchases through the App Store or Google Play follow Apple’s or Google’s terms.
- Refunds: You can get a full refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment. Renewal payments aren’t refunded, but you can cancel renewal at any time. See our Refund Policy.
8. Changes and interruptions
We may pause the Service for maintenance, upgrades or events beyond our control, and we may change or discontinue some features. Before shutting down the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, data errors, or errors in third-party market data.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. After deletion, your data is handled as described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we will notify you in the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance for any dispute arising from these terms.
